Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 1977. Then she began moving to Texas where she began pursuing an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last all that long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles that included local independent films and international commercials. She quickly found her passion in the field of acting, despite small roles. After moving from New York and in 2001 she got her first stage role in the daytime soap drama All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004's short comedy The Mountain.
